Admission and Tuition

  • Admission to The Learning Center is granted without regard to sex, religion, race, creed, color, or national origin. The same criteria for admission are applied to all students. There will be no distinctions in services provided by the school, and rules of discipline are applied to all students.

    Admission will be made on a first-come, first-serve basis in the following order:

    • Members of First Presbyterian Church
    • Returning Families
    • New Registrants
    • Waiting List

    A complete registration form and a non-refundable supply fee are required for enrollment. The supply fee is the same as one month's tuition (see below). A one-time snack fee is due on the first day of school. For 1 day or 2 days the fee is $30. For 3 days, 4 days, or 5 days the fee is $50. Enrollment will be determined by the age of your child as of September 1st.

    Tuition is due and payable by the 10th of each month. A late fee of $10.00 will be charged after the 15th day of the month. Checks should be made payable to TLC and put in the box in the Director's office or mailed. Please write the child's name in the lower left corner of the check.

    Tuition for September is due on the first day of school. The annual supply fee for the following school year is due and payable at registration in the spring and is not refundable. Because tuition is a monthly fee, no refunds will be given for partial months. Special circumstances must be brought to the Director's attention for consideration.

    Please be advised that The Learning Center and First Presbyterian Church are now NUT FREE ZONES.

    Since exposure to even a small amount of nut or nut products can cause a serious, life-threatening reaction to children with allergies, we are requiring that you not send your child to school with any food that contains nuts.

    We realize that this may be an inconvenience, however, we must take the necessary precautions to provide a safe environment to all children.

    We also request that if your child has eaten any nut products before school that their hands by cleaned thoroughly (with wipes or in a sink). We need to keep the toys and tables clean of nut traces, as this can also be harmful to children with severe allergies.

    Early Care and Extended Care

    TLC offers an early care and extended care program. Parents do not need to prearrange for early care.

    Early Care Mon - Fri, 7:45am to 9:00am $5.00*
    Extended Care Mon - Fri, 2:00pm to 4:00pm $5.00 an hour

    *This fee will be charged regardless of how long you leave your child for Early Care.

    Sunshine Play Center

    SunshineIn addition to TLC, the Weekday Ministries Program also features the Sunshine Play Center, a Mother's Day Out style program. This program is available Tuesday and Thursday during the summer for children 3 months to 5 years old. An additional summer program, Super Summer, is offered for children who have finished Kindergarten through 5th grade. Super Summer includes field trips, swimming, snacks, and age-appropriate activities.
